Maximize Savings with the Commercial Solar Tax Credit
Significant federal tax incentives are available to businesses that transition to solar, but you need to act fast. To qualify, projects must begin construction by July 4, 2026, or be placed in service by December 31, 2027.
With the current federal tax incentives available, business may qualify to receive up to 70% of the total project cost back. Here’s how:
30% base Investment Tax Credit
10% bonus credit for using domestic content (US-manufactured panels and equipment)
10-20% bonus credit for projects located in low-income areas (eligibility map)
10% bonus credit for projects located in designated energy communities (eligibility map)
On top of this, solar equipment is considered a business asset, meaning business owners can also take advantage of accelerated depreciation.
This time-sensitive opportunity can drastically improve the financial returns of your solar investment. Our financial modeling includes these incentives to show you the full economic benefit of your project.
What to Expect from a Commercial Solar Project with Sustainergy
Commercial solar and energy projects with Sustainergy typically include:
Review of utility data, energy usage, and building performance
Site evaluation and feasibility assessment
System design and financial modeling
Professional installation and commissioning
Ongoing monitoring and service support
Each project is customized to the building, the company, and the long-term goals of the owner or operator.
Commercial Solar Solutions Designed for Real Buildings
Sustainergy designs and installs commercial solar electric systems that are tailored to each facility’s energy use, site conditions, and goals. Our systems can offset a portion or, in some cases, the majority of a building’s electrical consumption.
Commercial solar systems may be installed on rooftops, ground-mounted on available land, or integrated into site features like parking structures. Each system is designed with long-term performance in mind and includes monitoring so building owners and facility managers can track the production of their investment over time.
We help companies correctly size their systems based on a detailed analysis of their energy consumption and future goals. The result is a solar installation that is cost-effective, durable, designed for the future, and aligned with how the building actually operates.
Monitoring, Performance, and Long-Term Support
Commercial solar systems are long-term assets, and ongoing performance matters. Sustainergy includes system monitoring with every commercial solar installation so performance can be verified and issues can be identified early.
Because we install and service the systems ourselves, clients have a clear point of contact long after installation is complete. Our goal is not just to install a system, but to ensure it continues to deliver value year after year.
